Parent Teacher League
As a parent of a child enrolled at Epiphany Lutheran School,
you are automatically a member of the Parent Teacher League--and
there are lots of ways you can get involved. We hope you'll take
a look at the activities listed below which PTL supports, and
find ways you can help!
- Classroom Coordinator
- One parent from
each grade level is selected to serve as a classroom coordinator-or "class
parent." The class coordinators are invited to serve on the PTL board which
meets periodically throughout the school year. The classroom coordinators
represent their child's class to the PTL board, and they participate in all
board decisions. They are also be
responsible for signing up other parents to support and
participate in classroom and PTL activities.
- "Secret Santa" Shop
- The PTL gives students a chance to surprise their parents and siblings
each year with gifts from the Secret Santa Workshop. The workshop
coordinator selects the merchandise and organizes volunteers to staff the
store during this event. This activity produces lots
of smiles from our young shoppers.

- Refreshment Coordinator
- Singing and dancing is Hard Work!! That's why the PTL is
always on hand with refreshments at events like the Talent
Show and the Christmas and Spring Programs. The refreshment coordinator recruits volunteers to help
serve at each event.
- Fund Raising
- Fundraising is just one of the roles of the Parent Teacher
League. Epiphany appreciates the great participation and support by
students and parents. There are many opportunities to coordinate or
help with various fundraising events.

- Teacher Appreciation
- Each spring, we help the students show their teachers and
aides how much they are appreciated. We are truly blessed at
Epiphany to have teachers who love the Lord, and show that
love to our children. A committee of parents put together a week of activities to thank our
teachers for their devoted service.
- Fellowship
- Periodically throughout the school year, PTL hosts meetings for all
parents. The meetings provide an opportunity for Epiphany
parents to get to know each other and learn about upcoming
events at the school. A favorite "get-together" is our annual
"potluck" dinner meeting in the Fall of each year. We all have busy lives-
so we encourage each parent to
reserve some time just a few evenings during the year to support
the Parent Teacher League.

enough PARENT POWER to accomplish all of the listed tasks and
